Francisco P. Marty, Jr. (Commissioner)

 

Commissioner Francisco P. Marty, Jr. graduated from Crawford High School in 1980 and went on to earn a B.A. in Public Administration from San Diego State University in 1986. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego, School of Law in 1992.  Comm. Marty then served as a Deputy Public Defender for the County of San Diego from July 1993 to July 2006.  He was appointed a Commissioner of the Superior Court of California for the County of San Diego in July of 2006, and continues serve in that positiont.  His duties as Commissioner have included presiding over Drug Court, the Prop 36 drug rehab program, motions, calendars, unlawful detainers, small claims cases and misdemeanor arraignments.
