Charles Bell

 

Charles E. Bell, Jr. is a Deputy City Attorney at the San Diego City Attorney’s Office, in its Civil Division – Special Litigation Unit.  Prior to joining the San Diego City Attorney’s Office, Mr. Bell worked as a civil litigation attorney for McCarthy & Holthus, LLP, where he represented clients in contract and real property litigation covering all aspects of the residential mortgage industry.  He received his law degree from California Western School of Law in San Diego, CA and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, with a minor in Ethnic Studies from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA.  Mr. Bell’s community involvement includes the following: Co-Founder/President of California State Polytechnic University Black Alumni Chapter; President of the Earl B. Gilliam Bar Foundation; California Western School of Law Alumni Board of Directors and Crawford Law Academy Mentor.
